Allergic Condition of the day
Today since this is my first day delving into the blogosphere I will keep it simple. I will talk about: Allergic Rhinitis
This is probably the problem that Allergists treat the most of all. The symptoms can be sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, nasal itch, and drip going down the back of the throat. There are a lot of things that can lead to symptoms in a patient who has allergic rhinitis including pollens such as trees, grass, and weeds, animals, and dust. This all happens when your immune system gets a little confused and sees harmless things as invaders. Then some of your cells in your immune system (mastocytes, eosinophils, basophils) spit out their contents and make you miserable. The medications that you take for allergies can block some of these chemicals including histamines but not all so even with pills sometimes you can still be miserable.
